This Is…For the iPad Lover in You.
SO, as we all know the craze over the new iPad has been here for some weeks, Whether you love it or not, it’s all over the media.
Some Key Upgrades are:
1) Screen Resolution: 4x more than iPad2
2) Better Graphics: A5X with Quad core graphics
3) 4G Network: Yes, it’s on the 4G
4) 5 Megapixel Camera with advanced optics
As sexy as this all is, and yes, it is to me anyway! There have been some complaints about over-heating and data drainage. I personally, am going to stick with my iPad 2 for now. I say this while I purposely have not visited the Apple store to see the new wave.
For Café Working

I always freak people out with this one. I (Heart) my Clamcase, I have it in white. It turns your iPad into a mini computer with a keyboard. The Clamcase is a blue tooth keyboard/case that your iPad pops into (see picture below). It is by far the easiest keyboard to work with using the iPad. It comes in black, white, and the Trooper (black trim and keyboard with white case).

For Blogging and Tweeting

The ever popular Flipboard. Now is also available for your iPhone. Flipboard is an app that allows you to seamlessly and easy ‘flip’ through websites, rss feeds, and even twitter streams.
The app renders articles and feeds with pics and a teaser paragraph into a magazine like format that you can ‘flip’ through.
Tap on an article to read the full piece, and tap to close returning to where you left off. You can also easily tweet and email links from within the app. It provides for seamless, easy consumption and sharing from all your various digital media sources.

In the Office

So, I’m in a new work space. Kind of fun, media tech collaborative style. I turn to my left and my neighbor is working from her iPad, on the big screen! Yes, she has her iPad connected to a huge monitor which she leaves at the office. And after work, she gracefully glides off with her iPad in her purse and no other remnants of a hard day’s work.
She shared with another neighbor. Yep, I do everything from here. She’s in marketing and PR so I’m sure it’s lots of emails and knowing what’s going on.
Video Mirroring

So What is it, exactly?
Video Mirroring is a relatively new feature with the IPad 2 and iPhone 4S. It mirrors exactly what you see on your iPad, whether you are in email, Flipboard (wink), or Safari. With this you can see both on your iPad and the screen it is connected to. The one caveat: When watching a video only the controls are shown on the iPad, and the video shows on the screen.
How does she do it?
Depending on the type of monitor you have you will need a VGA Adapter or a digital AV adapter. If you have a monitor that you typically connect to a PC like most coporatate set ups are the VGA Adapter will work. If you are working on your HDTV or another HDMI compatible display you will need the digital AV adapter. (Follow the links and look closely at the pics provided and see which one matches your connection. )
